Are you prepared?

The site was created for citizens of the San Fran Bay area, but I think it's a great site for a starting point in creating your own personal zombie survival kit. [check out this commercial!] Or other...extremely life-threatening emergencies that having a kit could come in handy for. The site aims at natural disasters, fires, terrorist attacks, and even contagious diseases. But honestly, nowadays, with all this INCREDIBLY scary bio warfare taking place, the idea of a zombie isn't too far off. So take tips. Be prepared.

When I was younger, I was obsessed with tornadoes. I wanted to be a tornado chaser. (and still kind of do). Even before it was trendy by Twister. I had my own version of a tornado emergency bag that I kept under my bed and always brought it out the second we had a 'really severe' thunderstorm watch, etc. All of my preparedness, [note: lugging around a huge bag and 'taking shelter' in the food pantry under the stairs] always scared the hell out of my younger sister. But I was thoroughly convinced that this was a necessary precaution and that one day, in the near future, it would come in handy and save our lives. I never ended up taking the emergency bag to college.

Nowadays, with the global warming causing crazy weather patterns all over the world and crazy terrorists, the possibility of an emergency disaster is not very far off. I'd say it's about time to make my own emergency kit again. Jc and I are constantly tossing ideas around about our future survival zombie attack plan. I'd say we have it down to an art now, covering every angle and every last item needed.

Next up, my own personal zombie survival kit. Well, I think I'll post it..I don't want too many people out there trying to steal my ideas and horde all the supplies. The idea of an apocalypse fascinates me...

What are your own personal zombie survival plans?
