I ended up making the nin show on monday! Yay, and it was fantastic. Boy, does Trent put on a show. Our seats were pretty damn close too. I usually am on the floor, and it's amazing, but seeing it from a little bit further away was amazing in a different way....I might have missed out on the whole experience of his light show. It was beautifulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. SIGH.

I've been watching the Twilight and Trueblood trailers alot these past couple of days. The sookie stackhouse series (which trueblood is based on) was actually one of the first vampire series I picked up--even before Anita Blake! And I love it...it's hilarious and romantic and adventurous. I just loooove it. Although I'm pretty skeptical about the character choices (Anna Paquin as Sookie-Really?) I think that they captured the overall feel of the movie. And it's on HBO, so all the blood and gore will be in full effect. I have to somehow acquire HBO before it airs. And twilight...hmm. It looks like it could be good. Very cheesy though, and I'm not too sure about Kristin Stewart playing Bella. I always thought of Bella as more feminine and Stewart's voice and delivery is pretty man-ish. And some of the things, or rather, way, she says her lines makes me cringe. But, I am so in love with this series and will of course be midnight-ing the day it comes out.

Next week, my bosses are all out of town at work and so, all of my meetings have been cancelled! I made a vow to myself to then post every single day that week. It's harder than it seems-constantly keeping up with posting. I have a lot to say sometimes, and I mean to post about it, but then, when I actually have the time, I'm usually watching a movie or reading other people's blogs, or drawing.... and then the night is up and I'm back to the next day. (how's that for a super long run-on sentence!) I am proud so far, though, that I do post every week. I've had many blogs and livejournals in the past where I post for a couple of days and then, six months later...I'm like, hey, sorry I haven't posted in awhile, etc. And then six months after that, same thing. Repeat pattern. So, this is good so far! Yay one time a weeker. But alas...I'm definitely going to try and be more proactive with my blogging. So anywho.

I made puppy chow. It was tasty.

I really want some funnel cake.
