Zombie Pic Thursday:
So I finally decided on my two halloween costumes. Princess Leia and Cherry Darling. Oh, but of course! We're having a party the weekend of the 25th, the night after I get to meet Bruce Campbell....so good day for all.
We saw Quarantine last weekend, which is a 'zombie' film loosely based upon the original that was released in Spain [rec]. I felt it was pretty good but I left the theater a little disappointed. It had a strong beginning and lots of potential....but the ending...I mean, really?! I don't want to give anything away, but let's just say that in case you took a leak during the last 5 minutes, you could always catch it on THE TRAILER. You know, the one that's ALWAYS shown on TV. Yeah, that one.
There's a whole bunch of banging outside my apartment right now and it's kind of freaking me out. Sometimes it's scary to live alone.
On another note, I cannot believe that Don Cheadle replaced Terrence Howard as Jim Rhodes in the next Iron Man. I love terrence, he is so cute and loveable! And, don't get me wrong, I do appreciate Don...but you can't just DO that when you've already grown accustomed to loving an actor as a character already. It's like saying the oracle 'changed forms' in the third matrix-unsatisfactory. Although I think that the real actress actually passed away? I don't really remember, but I do remember hating the new one as well as the third matrix. Which I saw on midnight on my...22nd birthday? Tragic. I will NOT talk about this movie.
Anywho, off to hopefully another good dream with Cillian Murphy ;)
