Zombie Pic Thursday:
Soooo it's definitely been quite a long time since I have updated. This is due partly to the fact that:
a) blogger has been blocked at my job.
b) jc doesn't have internet yet at his place.
c) i am a lazy bazy midget.
Because blogger has been blocked, all sites remotely related to blogging (e.g. comingsoon.net) have also been blocked. I have found a way around all of this; however, it takes multiple clicks and extreme dedication to be able to go through. Sometimes I get off lucky....sometimes I can never get through. Sucky mcsuckerton.
I finally decided on my final two costume choices for halloween, one of which I will be wearing to the wizard world texas con in november--the weekend after my birthday. BEST WEEK EVER. Yes indeed. I'm not going to get too excited, because I don't want to jinx anything. I have to start making the costumes soon...
I read this book the other day called Twilight of the Dead. Don't let the cheesily drawn cover fool you, this book is anything but the stereotypical teenage horror genre it appears. Not only is it a great character-driven zombie story, but the overall plot and action sequences are well thought out and incredibly interesting. I was riveted from the very first page and finished the book in a day and a half, which is fast considering my large lack of readable time. It's SO good, in fact, that the author's making a sequel. On his official website, you can actually chat with him via the forums. He posts regularly and even gives you sneak peaks of the new sequel coming out...it rules. Did I even mention the rave reviews?! If you are into zombies, horror, or like a really interesting take on the old zombie tale, then you will LOOOOVE this book. Do it.

Sorry to hear about your blocking issues. That kind of stuff sucks.
What are your two costume choices? I'm probably going to wind up wearing my Zatanna costume for Halloween. That tuxedo jacket wasn't cheap! Haha.
Thanks for the condolences, it really does suck and sure leaves me with a lot of extra 'work' time on my hands, haha.
I finally decided on princess leia and wonder woman. I was thinking about going as zatanna too (I also love her!), but I found these great wonder woman boots so I might stick with that. I love your zatanna costume, I've seen pics and its badass! You should definitely stick with that :)
