Also, the Watchmen trailer! Wow! Its so beautiful! I am stoked for this. It was...fabulous. I went home and have been listening to that smashing pumpkins song that's playing in the background nonstop.
I read recently that MTV is going to remake Rocky horror picture show. EGATS. This is dreadful news. How can they remake THIS cult classic?! It's a cult classic for a reason, it's...it's...irreplacable! I am disgusted and definitely not looking forward to this.
I've finally been able to get JC to watch buffy with me lately, and now he's hooked! Right now we're in the beginning of season four, and he already feels as if he is now an expert on the characters. Season four has actually been the least watched season for me, just because Angel and Cordelia leaving left such a bitter taste in my mouth. Plus, Riley annoys me. But, after watching it all over again for the hundredth time, I'm beginning to have a new appreciation for it. It's funny, relate-able, and not as bad (by bad I still mean Buffy-awesome) as I remembered. Anywho, we both had a brilliant idea: That Xander (Nicholas Brendan) NEEDS to play Ash on an evil dead remake! HAS TO. He. is. perfect. If you have seen even one episode of buffy, you will have to agree. Not only does he possess an uncanny physical resemblance to bruce, but his facial expressions, mannerisms, the way he talks, and EVERYTHING about him just screams Ash. I went and googled to see if anyone had come up with that idea yet, and people already have. We have to pitch this.
I've been following all the hype and tv shows, websites, magazines on comic con and I might cry. I would give my left arm to go. I was planning on it too, but, my amazing luck! I have a wedding this exact weekend. I am trying not to get upset and just kind of look at the floor set pictures and read about who else is going to be present with fake disinterest. But I eat it up. I get excited and then disappointed every time I realize that I can't be there. So sad. So if anyone goes...tell me how it is! Take a zillion pictures! Get tons of autographs! Buy lots of toys and goodies! Commission tons of sketches! And do it for me. I will love you (even if I slightly might hate you because you went).
I went to Austin last weekend and it was lots of fun and very much needed. I didn't get to visit as many places as I would have liked, but it was still a blast. I wish I could say I have pictures to post, but my camera, being stolen and all, could not take pictures. I brought a disposable one though, and when I finally get it developed, I'll post some pics.
