After reading the latest buffy issue, I am still at a loss of judgment for Buffy's newly established bicurious behavior. Surely whedonites across the world would recoil in shock if such a storyline was ever used on the tele; but now, low and behold, everyone rejoices when it's introduced in comic book form. I was definitely taken aback when I first read it back in issue number...12 was it? Can't really remember, but it was a definite mouth-dropper. I like how creative the series has gotten in comic book form and I believe that it transferred over really well overall. Yet I am still one of those that will ALWAYS be a huge buffy + angel fan, and her little experimentation efforts are getting her no closer to that unlikely reunion I have always fantasized about. SIGH.

Anyways, also this week: Secret Invasion, Batman rip, Iron Man, Detective, Fables, Giant size astonishing, and a few more. I'm always going to be a bit behind now that I moved to a city where the nearest comic book store is 30 MINUTES AWAY. Yes, awesome. So awesome that every wednesday I am constantly reminded of how I used to live 5 MINUTES AWAY from Austin book and comics...one of the three holy grails of comics in austin. Sigh. OH, plano.

What's on tonight's movie agenda: Living Dead at Manchester Morgue (ie Let Sleeping Corpses Lie) and the live action Super Mario Brothers. Reviews will commence soon after.

I went to Denton on thursday with some friends for 80s night and it was a good time. Saw some old friends, met new ones, and danced, danced, danced. Also, I have major new inspiration for my apartment. I'm very excited. VERY excited. Also, today I bought a whole lot of movies.

Sadly, I think licensing rights are more likely to block a Buffy/Angel reunion than bicurious-ness is. Unless Dark Horse and IDW decide to work together on the project. Which, hey, stranger things have happened. Over the years, Marvel & DC have done a slew of cross-overs ... and their characters all live in two different universes!

So who knows? Maybe if they hook up again, Buffy can stab him through the chest and send him back FROM Hell instead of to it. ;)

Yes, I do believe all that corporate bs stands in the way of my buffy/angel reunion, but a girl can dream, right? ;)

Who knows, maybe if enough people protest, they might combine forces and produce even the tiniest inkling of a reunion. After all, like you said, weirder things HAVE happened!

And that would be hilarious, and this time I would laugh (at the stabbing) as opposed to crying. (Yes, the becoming part 2 has always and will always force tears from my eyes...even after I know what happens after, it NEVER fails)
