If you know me at all, you know that I can’t stand yogurt. No, this isn’t your typical aversion to a particularly nasty type of food; this is a hate. A gag-inducing material that I find utterly repulsive. And yes, I have tried it, so it’s definitely not one of those, ‘don’t knock it till you try it’ type of things. For example, yesterday at target, I was browsing through soaps. I am very keen on the vanilla scent (obsessively almost) so I was on the lookout for one with it. I finally found one…but after looking above the word vanilla, I see the word “yogurt creamy”. I was immediately disgusted and settled on an almond oil instead. This is how intense my dislike for this creamy cup of crap is.
Well, I come to work today and my coworker is suddenly rambling on and on about this delicious new yogurt. I tune her out, until I catch the words ‘whipped cream’. So! Apparently there is a yogurt out there called whips, which is very light and fluffy and resembles a sort of mousse-like whipped cream…and comes in a variety of flavors. So I will branch out adventurously during lunch and purchase this mysterious product (I can’t resist the promise of a HEALTHY whipped cream, and am curiously intrigued that it is made by a yogurt company).
I'll keep you posted on the results. In other news, sex and the city comes out today! Yes, that's my guilty pleasure and I have heard good things. I still need to see Speed Racer and Narnia though. Indianna Jones was AWESOME and I enjoyed every minute of it...we went to the midnight showing the night before it came out and all. I could see how some people might think it's too out there or what not, but really...it actually isn't. I won't spoil it, but if you think about all of the other jones films, they also possess a supernatural element so the alien thing isn't really that unbelievable. Harrison just looked so old though! It was kind of sad...and made me feel old...
