It's amazing how just a small part of a song, a lyric, or even a miniscule beat change whispers to your soul. It's gems like these that make the day worthwhile. It's music that makes LIFE worthwhile. Without it, I would surely have deflated and faded into some form of nonexistence.
I even find that when it's been a few days that I haven't listened to music, or GOOD music...I am crabby and wound up...I need its solitary emotional release. Sometimes it's soft, melodic acoustic tunes, sometimes its hardcore, thrashing, screaming metal, sometimes a slick dance beat...whichever, I love it all and I love how I am lost in nothing but it's power to consume my every sense.
I wish I had my own soundtrack, tuning out boring-ass meetings, heightening a sexual escapade, motivating me even further...yeah, that'd be nice.
Music and love...the only things that truly make this life worthwhile.
